He started his career as a producer's assistant at Black Camel Pictures, working on the film Sunshine on Leith. He also has development experience from Heyday Films, Ealing Studios and Headline Pictures, and Sales and Distribution experience with Protagonist pictures.

Prior to entering the film industry, she was a product manager and retail team-leader at Hamleys, one of the finest toy retailers in the world. Paulina is also fluent in Russian.
